A 15-year-old boy was seriously assaulted during an argument on Keplerplatz in Vienna-Favoriten. A man allegedly wounded the teenager in the thigh with a knife, after which another unknown man hit him on the back of the head. The investigation is ongoing.
The bloody attack took place on Friday afternoon at Keplerplatz, which had already received media attention for numerous acts of violence. A fight broke out between several men. Among them: a boy only 15 years old. The teenager was the victim of two men who allegedly stabbed him and hit him in the back of the head.
Victim taken to hospital with knife
The suspects were able to flee after the crime. The emergency services were initially unaware of the incident and the police were not alerted until Saturday. According to police spokeswoman Barbara Gass, the young victim was taken to a hospital and fortunately there was no danger to her life. The search is now underway for the men and the investigation is ongoing.
