The FBI has seized more than 150 homemade bombs from a Virginia farm in a record find. A 36-year-old father of two was arrested.
It is believed to be the largest seizure of its kind in the agency’s history. Following a tip from a neighbor, investigators searched the home of a 36-year-old who lives with his wife and their two young children.
Explosives in backpack
In a bedroom they found a backpack containing explosives. In the refrigerator they discovered a container filled with the explosive HMTD, kept next to food and labeled ‘Do not touch’. A notebook containing information on making grenades and other explosives was also seized.
Biden portrait as target
The 36-year-old used photos of President Joe Biden for target practice and expressed his understanding of political assassinations, according to court documents. According to the Public Prosecution Service, the man was charged with unlawful possession of weapons. The farmer is also being prosecuted in connection with the discovery of explosives.
