Apparently nothing is sacred to some: between September 20 and the end of October, several funeral cards from the bouquets of flowers and candles were stolen from the mortuary chapel in Zams. After extensive investigation, the mysterious series of thefts has now been clarified and a Swiss couple has been investigated.
„According to the current state of the investigation, the suspect assumed that there was cash in the envelopes,” the police said about the possible motive.
Parcels and letters also stolen
But that’s not all: the brutal thief is also said to have stolen packages and letters from mailboxes. His 40-year-old wife is charged with complicity. The man’s handcuffs clicked, he was taken to the Innsbruck prison – the woman was generally reported.
