Elon Musk is discussing with his allies how to oust Starmer before the 2029 elections

Date:

According to the Financial Times, the tech mogul is investigating how to destabilize Starmer’s Labor government.

Billionaire Elon Musk has privately discussed with his allies how to achieve this resignation of the British Prime MinisterKeir Starmer, ahead of the next British election, scheduled for 2029, the Financial Times reports.

As the Financial Times learned, the technology sector magnate explores how Starmer’s Labor government can be destabilized apart from the strong criticism leveled against him on his social network X.

“His view is that Western civilization itself is under threat,” said a person familiar with Musk’s move.

The South African billionaire, the FT adds, has sought information on how to generate support for alternative British political movements, particularly the right-wing populist Reform UK, to force a change of prime minister before the general election.

In recent decades, several prime ministers, such as Tony Blair and Boris Johnson, have won elections with large majorities, only to be forced to resign mid-term for various reasons, either due to scandals or a lack of popularity.

The CEO of Tesla, SpaceX and has sharply criticized Starmer for months.

In the past week he has demanded a national inquiry into historical cases of sexual exploitation of girls by gangs of men, mainly British-Pakistani, in several cities.

Musk accused Starmer of being “complicit” in authorities’ failure to protect victims and prosecute abusers when he was director of public prosecutions between 2008 and 2013.

Starmer has rejected Musk’s criticism, saying this week that those “spreading lies and misinformation” are not interested in the victims but “themselves”.
