An argument between several guests in a restaurant in the Tyrolean Zillertal has completely escalated. Late at night, several men beat each other up. According to police, at least five people were injured, including apparently bystanders.
The escalation had already taken place on Saturday evening in a restaurant in Kaltenbach. Shortly after 1 a.m., several guests got into an argument. According to police, at least ten people were involved.
Five injured men taken to hospital
“According to the current status of the investigation, at least three Germans between the ages of 27 and 30 and two Austrians between the ages of 37 and 41 were injured,” the director reported on Sunday. Apparently among the injured are people ‘who wanted to mediate in the escalation’.
After initial treatment, all five injured people were taken by ambulance to the Schwaz district hospital.
