Biden claims to have “laid the groundwork” for Trump to “protect” Ukraine.

Date:

Last Monday, the President of the United States delivered his last foreign policy speech at the head of the government on January 20, for the sake of Donald Trump.

United States President Joe Biden predicted on Monday that a ceasefire deal in the Gaza Strip is about to “come to fruition” and stressed that the Palestinian people deserve an end to the conflict.

“We are on the eve of a proposal that I explained in detail months ago and which will finally become reality,” he indicated in his latest foreign policy speech.

Likewise, Biden assured this Monday that his administration has “laid the groundwork” so that the next administration of Donald Trump can “protect Ukraine’s bright future.”

“Ukraine remains a free and independent country with the potential for a bright future. We have laid the foundation so that the next government can protect the bright future of the Ukrainian people,” he stated.

Biden has noted that three years after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Russian President Vladimir Putin has “failed in all his strategic objectives.”

“When Putin invaded Ukraine, he thought he would conquer Kiev in a few days, but the truth is that I am the only one who has visited the center of Kiev since the start of the war. Not him,” he emphasized.

The president says that under his leadership, some 50 European and Asian countries came together to help Ukraine repel Russian aggression and impose “unprecedented sanctions” on Russia.

Thanks to these actions, he says Russia is “losing on the battlefield” and that the Russian economy is “under enormous pressure.”

Trump, who won the Nov. 5 election, has proposed seeking an agreement between Russia and Ukraine to end the conflict but has not detailed whether his plan includes Russia’s annexation of occupied Ukrainian territories.
