Two women loudly attacked and fought each other on board an easyJet plane from Zurich to Lisbon on Friday evening. The machine therefore had to return shortly after take-off.
The Zurich cantonal police received the fighters and a man at the gate in Zurich. The trio was questioned, it is said. A police spokesperson confirmed a report in the free newspaper “20 Minuten” that investigations were underway.
As seen on Flightradar24 – a website that specializes in real-time monitoring of global airspace and records data on all aircraft currently in the air – (see screenshot below), the plane returned to Zurich.
The website of British budget airline easyJet said: “We are sorry that your plane has returned to Zurich. The reason for this is that a customer needs further support.” The safety of crew and passengers is the top priority, the company said.
The plane was finally able to fly to Lisbon – with some delay.
