The processing of the budgets of the Vitoria-Gasteiz Municipal Council is progressing after the adoption of 23 amendments agreed between the PNV, PSE-EE and EH Bildu in the Finance Committee.
These amendments, which total EUR 7.7 million and concern 8 million commitment appropriations for projects in 2026 and 2027, will be endorsed in plenary next Friday.
The agreement, which allows the minority government to pass its bills for the second consecutive year with the support of EH Bildu, includes key initiatives such as the construction of housing for the elderly, resources for emergency housing, new housing for young people, and commercial and renewable energy sources, among others.
For their part, PP and Elkarrekin rejected both the approved amendments and their own proposals.
