The dates are not final yet. The workers of Vectalia Enkarterri, concessionaire of the Bizkaibus service, have called strikes over the “puny will of the company to guarantee wage increases above the CPI”.

The meeting of employees of the company Vectalia Enkarterricconcessionaire of the Bizkaibus service, has agreed to call 24-hour strikes in the coming weeks, given the company’s “zero desire to guarantee wage increases above the CPI”.

The trade union ELA has notified this decision of the employees of the company, which is on daily duty, to more than 6,000 users of municipalities in the Enkarterri region and is linked to the hospitals Cruces and Basurto, and to the UPV/EHU campus.

The 24-hour strikes will be intermittent, although the dates are not final yet.

The workers’ assembly also demands that the Provincial Council of Biscay “who appreciates the essential service” that Bizkaibus represents and “does not allow concession companies to continue to speculate”.
