It is still unclear how the man died. Therefore, the Feldkirch Public Prosecutor’s Office ordered a criminal autopsy to clarify the cause of death and allow a clear identification.
The exact circumstances are currently under investigation; the executive could not provide further details. As reported, a body was reported to the police in the municipality of Lauterach around 10:17 am. When the officers went outside, they actually found a male corpse lying in the Dornbirner Ache in the Jacobsweg area. Forensics immediately set out to secure the location and start the investigation.
