Twice Marijam fell out of the window in Engerwitzdorf in Upper Austria. Once caught by a human guardian angel, the Iranian child was clearly lucky for the second time and was not too badly injured. But now the authority has had enough and is determined.
In just four days, eight-year-old Marijam fell twice from the window of her family’s apartment in Mittertreffling. While she first caught a guardian angel in the person of Martin M. (41), she fell on a patch of grass in front of the house on Wednesday. The impact was slowed down by a hedge. The girl, who was affected according to “Krone” information, was taken to the Neuromed Campus in Linz, but will soon be allowed to return home.
Child is cared for by youth care
But what about the family? “Child and youth care has now taken care of them and will take care of them for the time being,” district chief Paul Gruber said in an interview with “Krone.” “For data protection reasons, I can’t say more at this point,” Gruber continues. We then decide together whether and which measures will be taken.
Meanwhile, the police are also investigating Marijam’s parents – for breach of supervision and negligent bodily harm.
