While driving, a director (40) lost consciousness in Gaspoltshofen (Opper-Oostrijk) on Saturday evening. The 40-year-old crossed the oncoming lane and collided with an oncoming car. The result of the accident: Three injured were taken to the hospital.
The 40 -year -old from Haag am Hausruck drove his car on the L 520 on Saturday around 5.30 pm. In Gaspoltshofen he suddenly became dizzy and lost consciousness – probably as a result of an earlier illness, the police said.
The 40-year-old then crossed the oncoming lane and bumped into an oncoming vehicle. Both cars were badly damaged during the collision and ended up in the ditch.
All those involved were injured
The 40-year-old was injured in the collision, as well as the two occupants of the other vehicle: two 30-year-olds from Gaspoltshofen. The salvation brought all three to the Wels hospital.
There was considerable damage to both vehicles.
