Strategy expert: – Russian army focuses on coal shafts

Date:

At least one person has been killed and four others injured in Russian artillery strikes in eastern Ukraine. The regional military administrator reported grenades. Russian troops also occupy another place in Donbass.

“Above all, she is interested in Pokwrowsk, which is an economic goal,” said Ukrainian strategy expert Andrij Ryschenko. “It is known that there are several coal shafts.”

Russian troops recently occupied the town of Welyka Novosilka in Donbass. “It managed to cook the opponent’s units, who asked their commanders for an order to withdraw but did not get it,” it said on the Russian side. Earlier, a Ukrainian army spokesman had warned that troops threatened the encirclement there.

Moscow: “Crucial breakthrough”
The Russian Defense Ministry in Moscow reported a decisive breakthrough on Friday. Welyka Novosilka had about 5,300 inhabitants before the war. It is the southwestern front part in the Donetsk area.

The Ukrainian armed forces have been attacking military bases, refineries and ammunition depots on the Russian side for some time to make it more difficult to care for Russia’s armed forces.

Selenskyj exchanged commander
Ukrainian President Wolodymyr Selenskyj, meanwhile, swapped the commander of the forward section in the east within a year (see video above). “These are the most difficult combat areas,” he said in his daily video address on Sunday evening. Major General Mychailo Drapatyj now replaces Andrij Hnatow, who has been in command since June alone. Hnatow should become deputy chief of staff and be responsible for training and communications.
