A criminal duo is said to have caused fear and terror on Sunday morning in a tobacco store in Vienna-Liesing. Just like the legendary gangster couple Bonnie and Clyde, the two dealt with a perfect division of tasks. Now the police are looking for the perpetrators with the help of mugshots!
It was seven o’clock in the morning when the masked man entered the tobacco shop, the employee (63) threatened with a black gun and cash, cards and cigarette boxes demanded. In the meantime, his henchman stood in front of the entrance to Striche and secure the escape route.
Amount of money of four digits stolen
According to the police, the tobacco shop was forced to remove the requested goods from the storage space before the duo fled unnoticed with the loot – the value of which is in the low four -digit euros.
Because there is no trace of the couple so far, the Viennese State Police now asks for the Public Prosecution Service for the publication of photos of the security cameras of the tobacco shop.
All relevant information (also anonymous) is requested from the Viennese Staatsrecherche, Zuid department, on telephone number 01-31310 EXT.
