A large kangaroo attacked a man in Australia and was seriously injured. According to the emergency services, the approximately 50-year-old animal attacked the bound animal when he was about to go to his car.
The victim had seriously injured the chest and deep flesh wounds on the poor, ABC quoted the Queensland ambulance service.
The man from the village of Willow’s Gemfield was flown to a hospital in the city of Rockhampton. The incident took place on Wednesday.
Deadly attacks are rare
According to the information, the pocket animal was about two meters long. The authorities expressed a warning and asked the people at the place 700 kilometers northwest of Brisbane to be very careful. “Usually the kangaroos in the city are very friendly, and they feed the people and think they are great,” said an employee of the local fire brigade. So far there have never been any problems, but this kangaroo man apparently put it in the head.
In Down Under, kangaroo attacks on people are not uncommon. In 2022 there had been a fatal attack in the west of the country for the first time since the 1930s. The victim had kept the kangaroo as a pet. But the animals often start on colleague species.
The kangaroo is the national animal of Australia. There are four types of bouncing resilient animals: the red giant kangaroo, the eastern gray giant Kangaroo, the western gray giant Kangaroo and the antelope kangaroo.
