As he recalled, this is the second day of partial strikes called by the ELA, CIM and UGT unions “as a form of pressure in the negotiation of the new collective agreement”. Metro Bilbao has assured the company that it is “keeping the negotiating table open” and has complained about “the effects that the unilateral stance of the power stations could have on the service, which decided to call off the strikes before the company’s proposal for an agreement” .
Metro Bilbao also recalled that the company and the unions held a new meeting on Thursday, “to try to reconcile positions” with the callers of the strikes.

The trade union ELA, organizer of the strike, described this morning’s strike as “successful”, stating that “despite the minimal service, the follow-up has been extensive”, and the organization is “satisfied with the response of the template ” .
