How large is the housing shortage in the country? How long do applicants have to wait for an apartment non -profit and why are no longer built? State councilor Marco Tittler (ÖVP) gives the answers in the “Krone” interview.
“Krone”: Mr. Tittler, what about the economic situation in Vorarlberg?
Marco Tittler: Unfortunately, the upswing phase that all experts predicted half -2024 did not take place. The predictions have not been released. We have been in a recessive phase for more than two years. I hope that the world economy and the economy will recover somewhat in 2025. The advantage for Vorarlberg is that our federal state is faster in a recovery phase due to the circumstances. Conversely, we are currently much more affected by falls.
