Driving under the influence of a 79-year-old German came to an abrupt end late Thursday evening in the Saalfelden district of Schinking in Salzburg. The retiree went off the road and his vehicle ended up in a stream.
The car then remained on its roof. The German, who was able to free himself from the car, was traveling alone. The man had been driving around in a field before the accident, which is why eyewitnesses had informed the emergency services about the abrupt end of the joyride.
