Breathe in France: the Tamme Wildsau Rillette, whose fate has moved all of France in the meantime, can remain permanently with its owner. Élodie Cappé was facilitated after the prefecture of the department.
“Last victory,” wrote the French woman on Tuesday evening in the online service Facebook, accompanied by Champagne board. After a long time back and forth, the prefecture had decided that Cappé could keep the animal in a housing.
Ran owner as first -year students
The owner had a hundred kilos from the owner as a newcomer. The fate of Rillette – that is named after a specialty that is prepared with wild boar meat – had moved many people in France and beyond. In the meantime, the authorities had ordered the animal to place the animal in a house or let it sleep.
The Tamme Wildsau Rillette can stay with its owner Élodie Cappé:
Rillette is used to dealing with people
Cappé registered the wild boar in April 2023 at the age of about a month. The adult sow, which is used to make contact with people, lives in a housing on the site of its owner, which leads a riding stable. Cappé had tried in vain to purchase the necessary papers to the aforementioned wild boar.
The prefecture has now decided that Rillette can remain if its owner meets all requirements – including regular veterinary checks and a ban on contact with other pigs or wild boar.
