In August 2021 a toddler in Gelsenkirchen stitched under the weight of a mattress (see video above). The tragic accident took place in a daycare center. Now two teachers have been convicted of six months for negligent murder.
Both also have to pay 5000 euros to the parents of the child. The child was found in August 2021 after an afternoon nap in the German daycare center. According to the autopsy result, the two -year -old boy stitched after being stuck with his head in a grid of his high bed.
He went straight into bed, lifted the plate of the upper bed with his head and got stuck in a grid. The boy finally stitched under the weight of the upper mattress cushion. It later turned out that the bed was not properly screwed on at this point.
The first instance had acquitted the two teachers because of the technical errors in October 2023. On this point, the beds were used for ten years without problems. The fact that the album was not sewn properly was never noticed before.
In the second instance, however, the decision of the first court has now been corrected. The two teachers have not relieved the defects found on the bed.
