After years in tight wagons, the tiger “Samba” and “Kenya” can finally lead a suitable life of a sort of. The owner of a Slovak circus voluntarily gave the animals, after which the animal welfare organization organized four legs. Now a new life starts for them.
These types of photos have been a thing of the past in Austria since 1 January 2005. However, since 2018 a ban on wildlife has been applicable in Slovakeis Circuses. So “Samba” and “Kenya” in Circus Aleš did not perform for a long time, but the tiger was still housed in small wagons.
A new life for the Tigers
But now her time of suffering is over! The owner of the Circus Aleš finally decided to give the animals voluntarily. Thanks to the Animal Welfare organization, four legs started the journey for “Samba” and “Kenya” – in a better life.
Medical care and acclimatization
Both circusers were carefully loaded into transport boxes and safely taken to a large cat protection center in the Netherlands. There they are now medically under supervision and slowly used to their new, species -suitable at home. First they stay in the protected interior. But soon they will feel fresh grass under their legs for the first time – a moment when they would never have thought possible.
