Investigative success of the Vienna police: After two Upper Austrians were surrounded and harassed by a group of men in Favoriten on Wednesday, officials were now able to investigate two suspects. The manhunt continues.
As reported, the two women went to Vienna to visit a friend. As the 18-year-old and 20-year-old passed Keplerplatz in Favoriten early Wednesday evening, the group of young men approached them and began to surround the two. The women were harassed and followed by two members of the group to their friend’s apartment.
One of the suspects then tried to enter the property but was evicted.

A search for the perpetrators led to initial success, the police announced on Saturday. Two suspects, two Moroccans aged 17 and 22, were identified. The older man had already been interrogated and had not confessed, it said. He has been charged with assault and attempted trespassing. He is in general.
