There was an explosion in the former Tschernobyl -core center in Ukraine in the night of Friday. According to Ukrainian President Wolodyymyr Senskyj, it is said that the scale that protects the outside world against the locked remains has been hit by a drone.

According to the International Atomic Energy Organization, the explosion was heard on the scale. However, a fire broke out – the fire brigade, which was on site within a few minutes, could quickly extinguish the flames.

In 1986 there was a collapse at the nuclear power plant. To minimize the exit of radioactivity from the ruins, a sarcophagus was built over the ruin.
