Shock in the VeVerberg district in Styria: Emergency services discovered two bodies in a blocked garage in Bärnbach workshop. A 30-year-old had previously warned the fire brigade because his father was not available. According to the first investigation, a 56-year-old may have killed his cousin (61) and then hung up.
On Sunday at 2.30 pm the 30-year-old informed the fire brigade after he could not reach his father. The Werkstättenhalle was closed, the key was on the inside and in the radio, which seemed unusual, the police were said.
After opening the door, the emergency services met two lifeless men. According to the first investigation, it was the 61-year-old father of the scoreboard and the 56-year-old cousin of the father. The dead also came from the VeVerberg district.
The Staatsty of the State Striminal Police Office has taken over the research. “Previous investigations indicate that it can be murder and suicide,” the police said.
Backgrounds are still completely unclear
On Monday morning it was announced that the 56-year-old apparently killed his five-year-old cousin in the former workshop and then committed suicide. An ax was guaranteed on the scene, which should be the murder weapon. The motive is still the subject of the investigation, so far there are no indications for earlier disputes between victims and the perpetrator.
