The Agency for Nutritional Security (Ages) warned on Monday to the Fomax Children’s Costume “Christmas Elfe”. This is found harmful values of Chrom-Vi. These connections are classified as carcinogenic.
The ages request consumers not to use costumes that have already been purchased, but to remove it or to complain as an alternative in the point of sale. The responsible federal ministry can take further measures, said it in a broadcast on Monday.
The affected costume for children consists of a skirt and top. The reason for the warning is health-damaging values of Chrom-Vi. It is a solid that is easily soluble in water and from which some dangers assume. For example, it is used in wood curating agents and as a strong oxidic agent.
