The President of the European Commission (CE), Ursula von der Leyen, has presented a series of proposals that they expect to mobilize “around 800,000 million euros” for defense issues in the European Union.

This includes a new instrument that will provide 150,000 million in loans to the Member States and that can also be used for Ukraine.

The plan, baptized with the name ‘Council Europe‘, German politics presented it in a short explanation for the media.

“Raammar Europe could mobilize around 800,000 million euros in defense costs for a safe and resilient Europe,” said Von der Leyen.

The President of the European Commission has specified that the plan consists of Five partsIncluding a new “instrument” that will provide 150,000 million euros on loans to the Member States for investments in Defense.

“It is actually to spend better and together, and we are talking about paneuropa capabilities, areas such as air defense and antimiles, artillery, rocket and ammunition systems, drones and anti -floodses, but also to tackle other needs from Cyberspace to military mobility,” he said.

He pointed out that this tool will enable Member States to share the question and buy together.

“Of course, with this equipment, Member States can greatly increase their support for Ukraine, so there will be immediate military equipment for Ukraine,” he emphasized.
