„krone“: How many threatening emails have you already received?
Lisa Maria Kellermayr: You have to distinguish between private law, handwritten threatening letters, emails from the Darknet and criminal messages – which have been investigated. In general, in the seven months, we move into the higher three-digit range.
Have you also been physically threatened or insulted?
Yes. There were minor incidents at the consecration. They all came as patients. For some, it was clear that they had no medical concerns. The reason for her arrival was to become verbally aggressive towards me or my colleagues.
What did you expect from the police?
Protection! This is about announcing a massacre, why should it be my duty as a private individual to ensure that a massacre is prevented? And I would have liked a different approach.
Do you think the threats will end with the abolition of mandatory vaccination?
No, I do not think so. The people who threaten us think they have the right to kill me. And that they behave like good people because I am the personification of evil. Because in their eyes I killed thousands of people because I vaccinated them.
You are very active on social media, have you ever thought of quitting tweeting?
We have discussed this intensively in the team. But why should I give up my right to free speech when the freedom of speech of lateral thinkers is protected by hundreds of police officers at every demonstration? Do I have to announce a demonstration every day before the ordi so that I can get police protection?
Your practice is closed, you are about to go bankrupt. Is there anything left to save?
I can’t unlock again until appropriate security is guaranteed here on site, either from the police – or the costs for the security service are taken over. Until a certain time has passed without any threat. I cannot take any risks when it comes to the safety of my patients and staff.
How much did your private security service cost?
That is between 8,000 and 10,000 euros per month. And I’ve been doing this for seven months.
The situation is a huge psychological burden. How do you deal with that?
It’s an unreal situation, almost like a bad movie. I cover constitutional protection, terror and secret services. That puts pressure on me, of course, and I’ve already been in contact with victim protection organizations.
You recently got a dog. Is he your personal comforter?
Yes, we used “Fräulein” (note: a six-month-old Italian water dog) to give us all a little support.
