Influencer Maria Eftimova loved traveling and life, but her passion to explore remote places has now become doomed. During a mountain climb in Wales, the Bulgarin, who lives in England, fell 20 meters in his death.
Maria Eftimova was a student for civil engineering at the University of Salford and had made a name for himself as a travel influence. At the end of February the adventurous woman traveled with friends in the Eryri National Park to climb the Berg Tryfan.
When climbing to the 918 meter high mountain, a terrible accident happened: Eftimova slid out on a rock formation and fell 20 meters. The young woman was injured her head.
Friends mourn the young woman on Facebook:
Their travel companions warned the rescue employees, who quickly arrived at the scene of the accident. But the helpers could no longer do anything for the English woman – despite the initiated resuscitation measures, she died at the place of the accident. The autopsy showed that it had suffered a broken skull.
“Maria was a unique person who fully enjoyed life – not only adventurous and free -spiritual, but also incredibly friendly, intelligent and selfless”, a friend of the deceased, Megan Griffiths, mourned according to the tragedy. Another girlfriend has set up a donation industry to financially support her family in the transfer of her human remains.
Influencer was looking forward to vacation in Austria
“She loved extreme sports”, is explained on the platform. “She had an insatiable thirst for life and after exploring the beauty of our world. Tragically enough she was taken a lot, much, much too early for her family! She would mainly look forward to her upcoming trip to Austria, where she wanted to snowboard.
The tour to the Mountain Summit, on which Eftimova crashed, is a mixture of walking and climbing, as the BBC reported. It was difficult to climb in a conventional way, especially in bad weather. Since there are no marked hiking trails to the top, you have to use and climb your hands to reach the top.
