As a miracle, a 28-year-old man in Peru survived the collision on a train.
As the authorities of the South American country announced on Saturday, Juan Carlos Tello apparently fell asleep on the tracks in the accident in the ATE district in the Lima area. “The train ran over it and did not kill him and a miracle,” said General Javier Avalos, responsible for safety in the Ate district. “He was apparently drunk, fell asleep on track and did not notice that the train came,” Avalos continued.
Several meters still dragged along
On recordings of a security camera you could see how the young man was hit by the train and several meters were still dragged. After the locomotive came to a stand, the only slightly wounded drunk got up and continued.
