Andreas Steinegger is the new president of the Chamber of Agriculture and on Friday he was chosen with more than 97 percent approval. In the interview he explains how the sober Obersteirer taps how the organic farmer orders the “court” and what experience he has with flashes.
“Kronen Zeitung”: Mr. Steinegger, congratulations on elections. Why do you want to become a president?
Andreas Steinegger: Because I like to form. I want to deal intensively with specialized topics, bring them to a solution rail, show youth perspectives – because they are in agriculture. All this together – the connecting with each other and the farmers with society is really important to me.
