Attackers arrested – Dejected at Fest: Tyrolean (63) resuscitated

Date:

A dispute between two men (aged 32 and 63) at a festival in Bad Häring in the Tyrolean district of Kufstein escalated completely on Saturday evening. After the two local residents got into each other’s hair, the 32-year-old allegedly attacked his opponent so violently that he collapsed and lay lifeless. The man had to be resuscitated. The suspect has been arrested.

The violent argument broke out around 8:30 p.m. during a party that took place in a parking lot in front of an inn in Bad Häring. According to current knowledge, the 63-year-old would have initially hit his younger opponent in the neck. This, in turn, did not let him sit on his own.

According to police, the 32-year-old hit back, after which the older man staggered, fell to the asphalt floor and remained unconscious. “Witnesses present immediately provided first aid, initiated the rescue chain and two women immediately started resuscitating the man,’ the police said.

Emergency helicopter to the clinic
At around 10 p.m., the 63-year-old was flown by emergency helicopter to the Innsbruck clinic after first aid on site. The 32-year-old suspect, who had also suffered injuries, was temporarily arrested by the police and initially taken to the Kufstein Hospital.

Suspect intoxicated
After outpatient treatment, the alleged attacker went to the police station in Wörgl. “An alcohol test on the 32-year-old showed that he was heavily drunk. After consultation with the Innsbruck public prosecutor’s office, the arrest of the suspect was lifted during the night hours,” said the detectives. Appropriate advertisements will follow.
