In the crash of a small plane in La Punt in Switzerland, three people probably died on Monday evening. The plane was on its way back to Denmark from the Samedan Airfield. The identification of the fatalities is still being processed.
The one-motor propeller plane of the EA-400 type started at 5:20 pm on the Samedan Airfield with the aim of Roskilde in Denmark, said the Graubünden Cantonal Police on Tuesday morning. Two minutes later the plane crashed in an inhabited area on the north edge of the village of La Punt-handles and burned out completely. All occupants of aircraft were killed.
Search for the cause
The cause of the crash is now being investigated by the office of the federal public prosecutor in coordination with the Swiss Security Research Center (SUST), the Graubünden Public Officer, the federal criminal police and the Graubünden Cantonal Police.
