A ball visitor from the Graz Academic Ball was seriously injured in the night of January 26. As reported, he was attacked by unknown people and beaten. They also robbed him from the Coleur. Seven suspects can now be investigated.
“I can’t even go to the toilet for pain,” the 60-year-old victim complained shortly after the brutal attack on the “Kroon”. Together with his wife, the man left the ball around three in the morning at the Graz congress and marched to the hotel. Shortly thereafter “it did a burner”, as he said. Then he went to the ground.
The guest was attacked from behind: “I fell over and couldn’t get up.” Two young, black -dressed men then left. Three women in the immediate vicinity looked at crime, but did not feel attracted to intervene.
That was clearly shortly after the incident: it should be a political motive. Because: “I gave myself to recognize as a brotherhood and wore my striped.
Madam
The State Office for State Protection and Extremist Checking took over the case. Now a total of seven suspects were investigated! At the beginning of March, two suspects – Austrians, a man and a woman aged 23 and 25 – were arrested in Graz. Since then they have been in custody in the Graz-Jakomini prison. The woman has already made an extensive confession.
The office of the public prosecutor of Graz recently ordered the photo publication of another suspect. This was successful: last Friday the state protectors took three other people, again in Graz, with the support of the Cobra Operating Command and Fast Reaction Powers (Sig and BE), again – a German (29) and an Austrian (25). Moments later, however, their statement was ordered by the Graz Criminal Court.
Busy suspects became too big
But that was not all – the sights of the researchers were two other well -known suspects. These have been searched for some time by using a European arrest warrant. However, the pressure may have become too great for the two fugents. The Germans (25, 27), who live in Graz, stood opposite the Graz head station at the police station on Monday. They were admitted to the Police Reces Center and are being questioned today.
During house searches, the officials found the corresponding evidence such as mobile phones and clothing, which may have been worn at the time of crime. The victim’s student cap could not be found yet. The suspects can be assigned to the left scene and have repeatedly noticed the “offensive against the right” demonstrations.
