Not only one, but two local adolescents (19 and 17) were arrested because they had made a plan to threaten the event. According to the police, this is not in danger and this can take place as planned.
As the police confirmed, unlike initially, no person, but two young people, were arrested. It is a 19-year-old and a 17-year-old locals from the Kufstein district. They were therefore planning to distribute panic and chaos at the “Rave in the Wave” next Saturday. 2800 guests are expected during the event.
According to the police, the 19-year-old main suspect would also have been technically capable of the necessary items to realize that his plan was found during a house search. Although this is the case, they did not want to reveal “for reasons of research”, because further surveys are still underway.
Research since February, at the end of March, clicked on handcuffs
On the trail of the 19-year-old, the researchers had brought a hint of the population who was received in February. The investigation has been going on since then. “After graduating, the public prosecutor ordered the main suspect to arrest,” said police spokesman Bernhard Gruber about the demand for “Krone”. The man was arrested on March 27. A day later, the handcuffs also clicked for the second-year-old 17-year-old.
“Plan would not have been implemented”
The most important suspect was “fundamentally known” in his interrogation. “However, he stated that they had now been the actual execution,” the police report. His alleged complicit also admitted that he had spoken about the plan, but this would not have been implemented for her.
