Lifelong in prison – after the murder of family, planned school, school

Date:

A 19-year-old in Great Britain killed his mother and brothers and sisters. For this he was sentenced to life in prison. But he had even more before: he carefully planned a massacre in his old primary school. According to the judge, he wanted to become the “most famous school shooter of the 21st century”.

The 19-year-old Nicholas Prosper has to spend at least 49 years in prison. In September 2024 he shot his mother Juliana Falcon and his two brothers and sisters Kyle and Giselle Prosper. But it could have hit many more people. Prosper had a plan that he had prepared for a year: he also wanted to kill in his old primary school.

When she was pronounced at the Luton Crown Court-a bit north of London-Judge Bobbie Cheema-Grubb, it formulated as follows: “You intended to overthrow the municipality of Luton,” as the British news channel BBC reports.

The police stops the 19-year-old
What happened? Prosper shot his mother and brothers and sisters in the shared apartment on Friday in September 2024. Buren heard suspicious sounds and called the police. They searched for the 19-year-old and eventually arrested him on his way to his former primary school.

Prosper wanted to live as many people as possible and chose his former primary school as a place. He wanted to kill a total of 34 people – in the end.

Judge: “You wanted to be famous”
Prosper wanted to do all this to become familiar with having a school of shootout. Judge Cheema-Grubb said to predict: “They wanted to be famous, they wanted to be known posthumously as the most famous school gender of the 21st century.” There were no indications that, according to the BBC, Prosper pursued a political or ideological goal.

Has carefully prepared
Prosper had carefully prepared and intensively investigated the internet for his deed. His preparations went so far that he designed a black and yellow outfit for it. He also obtained a fake gun permit with which he bought a gun. Here too, his precise work showed: the arms permit was fake, “but possibly only one expert can find it,” said chief police commissioner Sam Khanna.

Assumption of an autism prime disorder
During his time in custody, Prosper’s trains from an autism spectrum disorder were recognized, but it was not officially diagnosed. The judge told BBC, in which it was explained why Prosper was obsessed with certain subjects with which he was intensively involved.

Cheema-grubb also said that this does not affect his ability to practice self-control or to form rational judgments. Prosper committed crime because he wanted to become famous and had little empathy for others, the BBC writes.
