During an operational training alone on Saturday in Styrian Prebichl, seven mountain rescues were taken away by a large avalanche and partially buried. Fortunately, only three were somewhat injured.
The Styrian Mountain Rescue Service carried out an internship in the Prebichl ski area on Saturday, in particular steep channel training was on the program. There were fearful moments: around 2.15 pm at the breeding square about 1800 meters above sea level in a mess north of the steep rinse, according to the police it was about 30 meters wide and 450 meters long.
The snow mass conquered six men and a woman from Mountain Rescue. They were shaken, but could free themselves or were restored by the comrades present. Three people were somewhat injured – eventually a glimpse of the Avalanche output.
