In two dramatic incidents in celebrations in Bavaria, two men were seriously injured during the weekend. In Parsberg there was a fatal knife attack on a Kurdish New Year – in Fürth a man was seriously injured in a wedding through shots.
A man was killed in a big party in the open air in the upper palatinate parsberg, as a police spokesperson confirmed on Sunday evening. Two men were at the festival. One suddenly brought out a weapon – apparently a knife – and injured his counterpart.
The alleged perpetrator was arrested, the site was closed off. All guests – probably hundreds of people – were not allowed to leave the site. According to information from the “Mittelbayerische Zeitung”, Kurdish New Year was celebrated – “Newroz Bayern” therefore always takes place at changing locations in Bavaria.
Fürth: Mann with a firearm shot
Almost at the same time in Parsberg, a man was shot at a wedding celebration in Fürth in Central Franconia and he was seriously injured.
Apparently a firearm was clearly involved: “We are talking about bullets and associated injuries,” said a spokesperson for the police headquarters in Central Franconia. The victim was provided for the Intensive Care, but died “despite the greatest effort” of the rescue employees in a hospital.
The spokesperson could not say whether the alleged perpetrator is already caught whether the alleged perpetrator was already. The police report on X of two vehicles that are said to have left the place in a flight.
However, there is no danger to the population – the remote industrial area in which the celebration took place at an event location. Nothing was known for the time being.
