Cessna “hangs” in the air – violent storm in Portugal throws small aircraft around

The storm has been raging for a few days and caused flooding and buildings, especially on Wednesday and Thursday.

The local disaster protection registered 5800 incidents within just eleven hours. Most of them were included in the Lisbon area.

Sturm until Saturday
Streets had to be blocked, train connections were interrupted, roofs collapsed and are also in small football stadiums. It is expected that it will stop raining and winding against Saturday.

Germany is upcoming storm
In Germany the hurricane “Martinho” is known as “Stormtief Volker”. During the weekend he should bring storms with heavy rainfall in parts of the country.
