After the devastating fire with a deadly time in the late Monday afternoon in the east of Innsbruck, the investigation continues to run at full speed. To clarify the identity of the dead person, an autopsy was ordered – however, the search for the cause continues.
A large contingent of emergency services hurried on Monday afternoon to the Olympic village in the east of Innsbruck, after the Tyrol Control Center was raised around 4 p.m. Smoke was reported in an apartment of a building with a high clearance.
Who is the dead person?
The fire brigade was able to control the situation quickly. Sad: a dead person was discovered in the apartment. “Identity could still not be cleared without a doubt. An autopsy was ordered,” said police spokeswoman Romana Schwaninger about “Krone” requirement.
“No proof of external debt”
The cause of the fire is still unclear. “The investigation will continue on Tuesday. According to current status, there is no proof of external negligence,” Schwaninger continued.
