In Iserlohn (North Rhine-Westphalia), an incredible case of sexual violence shook in September of the previous year. Four men had tied up a 30-year-old in a brewery that was not used, tortured and raped several times. The verdict has now been announced: the perpetrators between 25 and 52 years of age have to go to prison for seven to eight years.
Four men, Dutch and Danish citizens with Iranian roots would have overwhelmed their victim, tied up with cable tires and abused with a hockey rand. Then there was rape. The victim: a countryman who claimed to have fled to the Iranian regime.
Witnesses heard screaming
Witnesses heard the man’s desperate screams and called the police. The officials found the seriously injured 30-year-old and a little later four suspects found in a nearby forest. A sixth man should have been involved, but he escaped.
Filmed – as evidence in court
The men had filmed their atrocities with their mobile phones, the video was available for the judiciary for taking evidence. It is “clear” what happened that evening, it is said.
