A shocking incident took place on Saturday morning in the Swiss city of Vevey (Canton van Vaud): a 16-year-old adolescent was tragically murdered by trying to break into a restaurant.
Around 4 o’clock in the morning the teenager was found lifeless in the electric sliding door of the company on the Avenue Paul-Cérésole in the neck. Despite immediate resuscitation measures, the young man died on the scene of the accident.
Electric access door opened
According to the first investigations by the Vaud Cantonal Police, the young person had tried to violently collapse into the restaurant. He apparently opened the electric front door and wanted to slide through when the door system suddenly closed again and the deadly pinched.
