- Young citizens of the EU countries and Iceland, Liechtenstein, Noord -Macedonia, Norway, Serbia and Turkey can participate. You must be born between July 1, 2006 and June 30, 2007 and answer questions from a quiz. Group applications together with a maximum of three friends are also possible.
- The travel period is between July 1, 2025 and September 30, 2026. Participants with disabilities or health problems can be accompanied.
Discounts also for hotels and activities
- In addition to the travel pass, the participants also receive the Discovery Youth Card with discounts for public transport, hotels, food, as well as cultural, sporting and other activities in 36 European countries.
- The program was launched in 2018 by the EU committee. Two tenders take place every year, one in the spring and one in the fall. In the fall, more than 135,000 young people applied, including 3700 from Austria. 35,762 Passes were granted, 718 arrived in this country.
