The police in Tyrol went into the net of the police in Tyrol. Earlier, an alleged gang had tried to get a lot of money from a 68-year-old Innsbrucker with the new “Doctor’s Mesh”. But the crooks chose the wrong one.
It is a combat machine that has already put some opponents on the mat with beating, stairs and other karate techniques. But Charly Weinold also has in mind how he has impressively demonstrated this week. The 68-year-old became the target of the tricksters, but smelled it and made sure that at least a crook was arrested.
Cancer pretends
“On Tuesday afternoon I received a phone call from an assumed doctor from the clinic. In the beginning I heard a wine -made voice,” says Weinold. He was told that his son had a malignant tumor in the intestine and that only an expensive medicine from Switzerland could save him. 150,000 euros would be needed, the son of which would have already paid 30,000 euros.
Runned quickly to the police
“I then pretended to have the research and unattractive callers to have 22,000 euros and 17 gold coins at home,” smiles the 68-year-old, which is considered real martial arts with twin brother Peter in Tyrol. What the fraudster did not know on the phone: Weinold ran out of the apartment with his mobile phone on the ear, directly to the nearby police inspection. “Officials could then listen to the conversation,” says the Clever Innsbrucker.
Civil servants grabbed
A transfer of the money was actually fake in front of his house. “I still caught a plastic bag that was caught on a bike. The collector of money, who pronounced Dr. Schwarz, came to me and when he wanted access, he was put under pressure and arrested by citizens,” was the 68-year-old relieved.
With the arrested, apparently a young Slovenian, according to Weinold, it may have been a complicity of the caller. “The one on the phone was older.”
For investigative reasons, the police did not want to provide information about the case.
