From Carinthia and Lower Austria – accident with minibuses: various seriously injured

Monday afternoon there was a serious accident between two minibuses in Lower Austria. A Carintic and four lower Austrians were injured. Three seriously injured people had to be flown to the hospital by helicopter.

In the middle of the afternoon traffic, two minibuses on the L5247 State Road between Oberndorf an der Melk and Kirnberg crashed into the milk district of milk. A large contingent of emergency services followed. A Autodriver (46) had come to the oncoming lane for the time being with its station wagon unknown and bumped into the van.

The 23-year-old driver from the Spittal District on the Drau was caught in the serious collision in the vehicle and the 46-year-old St. Pöltner. Both had to be freed from the fire brigade’s accidents.

Different injuries
The 23-year-old was shortly after 2 p.m. on the L5247 towards Kirnberg on the Mank (Melk District). When the accident occurred. The three seriously injured people were flown to the state clinic in Amstetten, St. Pölten University Hospital and Krems with three emergency helicopters. According to the police, this will be a 23-year-old Carinthian and two lower Austrians-24 and 46 years old. Two other men aged 20 and 51 were somewhat injured.

The police have closed the accident area well to guarantee the rescue measures. The result was file. Three fire brigades and a large contingent rescue workers from the Red Cross were on the site, including the Volunteer Brigades Hub-Lehen, Oberndorf/Milk and Diendorf.
