Next auxiliary mission for the armed forces: After Burgenland, Lower Austria now also looks for help in the course of the mouth and Klauw’s disease in Hungary and Slovakia. In particular, this is also about disinfection measures on the border.
From Monday the armed forces will work at the border crossings in Hohenau (district Gänserndorf) and Berg (Bruck District on the Leitha), the country said on Thursday. “We will comply with the assistant request,” said LoWower Austria Military Command.
The epidemics at the open border crossings in Lower Austria to Slovakia are provided by the road service. This task should take over the army at the start of the week, it was said of the office of the responsible state councilor Susanne Rosenkranz (FPö).
