Flights Painted – Mega Storms and Windfalls stop Beijing

Huge storms caused fear and horror in the Chinese capital and Metropolis Beijing on Saturday. Who could not venture outside.

Rarely high level of warning
For the city with around 20 million inhabitants, storms that often come from the desert and steppe region in the northwest are not unusual at this time of the year. However, according to media reports, Beijing spent the second highest wind warning level for the first time in about ten years. Already on Friday the authorities have recommended to prevent outdoor activities at the weekend.

Other areas of North China, such as the Beijing van Hebei province, the inner Mongolia, Shanxi or Henan, as well as parts of East -China, were also affected by strong storms. The weather authority of China was waiting for wind sinks from a maximum of 150 kilometers per hour until Sunday morning (local time) windfalls with wind strengths at the top. The meteorologists also warned of sandstorms that could also reach Shanghai’s coastal metropolis.
