Football in the Ski-Mecca Schlading is booming! After Sturm, Gak, Hartberg and Voitsberg, the Obersteirers have the fifth largest number of spectators in the current season – 6630 fans have come to the Schladming Stadium so far, which means an average of 737 spectators per home game. On Friday, even 950 fans saw the 2-1 against Gamlitz.
“This is a house number. But the encouragement also has a good reason. We play with kickers from the region, the surrounding communities. The players are identification figures and then attract viewers of these locations. Moreover, our young players and families always come to the games because the players are their idols,” says Schlading President Roland Kahr.
