In a weekend there were two life-saving missions with the police defibrillator. After a young holiday maker in Taxenbach, a local in Zell am See was resuscitated. Strip cars have been equipped with Defi since the previous year.
“We happened to be nearby,” says police officer Gerald Kendlbacher of Zell am See. The alarm received a radio message. A 61-year-old local had lost consciousness in his car. The car was in the middle of Karl-Vogt-Straße because the driver suddenly could no longer continue. Pasters were already in a hurry to help, the man had recovered from the car and picked up the alarm.
