At about 4.30 am, the 21-year-old from the Liezen district drove her car on the A9 towards Linz. In a construction site area, she was probably micro towed into a concrete threshold and a street lamp behind it.
The driver and her 23-year-old passenger from the Liezen district independently alarmed the emergency call. The driver suffered minor injuries and her passenger suffered serious injuries. Both were taken to the UKH Graz by the Red Cross.
The volunteer fire brigade was on site with 28 emergency services. The vehicle sustained damage for an undisclosed amount.
