On Sunday, a Croatian fisherman succeeded in filming a gigantic shark near the coast. The marine animal deliberately circled around the boat at the Kvarner Bay. “Gigantic sharks are up to ten meters long and weigh up to four tons, but only feed on plankton and are completely harmless to people,” said sea biologist Pero Ugarković.
He posted the video in the Facebook group “Živi svijet Jadranskog Mora” (“Living World in the Adriatic Sea”). It can be seen how the marine resident approaches the fishing boat and circles it. After a short journey of discovery, the big fish withdraws. “Despite its enormous size, this shark is far from the unfortunately fearful hunter of the sea,” Marine biologist Ugarković told the “small newspaper”.
The recording was successful from the Croatian fisherman “Cali Mero” from Rijeka from his boat. He posted the photo on Facebook on Sunday evening and received some comments. “A beautiful beast” and “I would die from fear if I saw it in my area,” says there.
